Motorcycle BDC Events Associate Caliente Harley Davidson 

The Events Associate will plan and coordinate events for Caliente Harley Davidson

The Events Associate will be the Events Manager's right hand by creating online invitations to promote events for the Caliente Harley Davidson location. This position will manage resources and arrange venues, support vendors, assist sponsors, manage volunteers and events staff, and juggle many more tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Build the fun and excitement around the dealership, creating new business and enhancing current business.
  • Assist with planning and executing events for the dealership, including but not limited to creation of marketing materials and posting on social media platforms, event set up, event clean up, shopping for supplies/food etc.
  • Stay Compliant with all MAP policies and OTTHD policies.
  • Inform the neighbors of upcoming dealership events.
  • Keep events within the approved budget.
  • Coordinate agenda, calendar, and any relevant materials event planning meetings
  • Serve as onsite contact for inquiries regarding scheduled and upcoming.
  • Assist with Weekend, daytime and evening events for other departments as needed.
  • Potential Travel to Other Dealership Locations to provide support for Scheduled Events.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 


Education:

  • High school Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
  • Able to carefully deal with confidential information.
  • Professional and dependable
  • Computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Excellent customer service skills

$12 hour plus bonus, Saturdays are a must and other hours are flexible.

As a Sales Consultant at our dealership, you’ll be responsible for managing all sales activities.  From generating and managing sales leads, you’ll be instrumental in helping our team continue our success.

Responsibilities:
Greets customer on sales floor and performs a needs analysis including make, type, and features of vehicle desired.  
Explains features and demonstrates operation of vehicle in showroom or on road.  
Researches availability of models and optional equipment using computer database.  
Works with Sales and F&I Managers and negotiates sales price, including tax, trade-in allowance, license fee, and discount, and requirements for financing or lease payment of vehicle.  
Walks the lot and visually inspects inventory.  
Completes all paperwork and arranges for delivery and registration of vehicle.  
Delivers and familiarizes the customer with vehicle.  
Attends/completes required training and department meetings.  
Regular and predictable attendance.

job requirement

Ability to Speak a second language preferred
One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Sales skills, great communication, and excellent customer service skills are a must.
Organization and thorough follow-up skills are necessary for staying in touch with the client prior to and after the sale.
Current valid driver’s license is required for all employees.
Mathematical skills including, add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
