Qualifications

  • At least one year of sales experience, preferably in Motorcycles or related fields.
  • Strong sales skills combined with excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Organized with consistent follow-up to maintain client relationships before and after sales.
  • A current, valid driver’s license.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to speak a second language is preferred but not required.

Job Summary

The Service Porter plays a crucial role in supporting vehicle maintenance and service operations. This position involves working closely with Product Specialists, Service Managers, Sales Managers, support staff, and customers to ensure vehicles are delivered in excellent condition and customers are fully satisfied.

Responsibilities

  • Lead yourself and the team in alignment with the Company’s Vision and Mission
  • Remove vehicle protective coverings and identification tags before returning vehicles to customers
  • Inspect vehicles for damage before delivery and report any issues immediately
  • Clean the interior and exterior of new and used vehicles
  • Maintain a neat and organized vehicle lot by moving units as directed and following dealership display standards
  • Pick up and deliver vehicles from and to storage locations
  • Test batteries on customer vehicles in the service drive
  • Maintain building and grounds as needed
  • Assist with shop cleanup and deliveries as required

Key Responsibilities

  • Order, receive, and bill all parts accurately
  • Maintain proper storage and organization of parts inventory
  • Stock parts shelves to ensure availability
  • Assist retail customers and technicians, including answering phones promptly
  • Manage inventory through bin counts and accurate record keeping
  • Perform pick-up and delivery of parts as needed
  • Keep the parts department and work areas clean, neat, and orderly
  • Provide excellent customer service and support at all times
